Late 60's into the early 70's. Sweet time, corny music, real rock music, innocence still intact at 13, riding an old Schwinn everywhere I went - ponytail bouncing down my back, neighborhoods so safe we kids had no chaperones on Halloween - the streets were full of us, learning to dance to Motown, hearing Pink Floyd for the first time, unlocked screen doors, block parties, first kiss, and sitting on the porch listening to crickets with my grandparent's black and white TV turned to the news in the background and drinking a bottle of Pepsi with a straw stuck in, maybe thinking about catching some lightening bugs. Yeah, thanks, that took me back for a few minutes there and it was sweet...

The 1970's! Kids were kids, meaning you could ride your bike all day in your neighborhoods, and not even have to worry about STRANGERS kidnapping and/or killing you. Television shows were enjoyable, and really family friendly, not this garbage they have on now where every plot has to revolve around some sex scene, even if it's a comedy. The music was awesome. Kids actually got out to enjoy the sunshine and fresh air and played until your moms called you to dinner, instead of sitting on their butts all day playing PlayStation or behind some computer screen chatting with God only knows. I'm not saying there weren't problems, but you sure didn't have to mistrust people back then like you do now.

The 1340s. Famine, war, political unrest, and a big ol' plague in 1349 to wipe away a third of Europe's population. Boy, they don't make decades like that anymore.

Definitely the 70's. I was in HS,best time of my life. We had a blast everyday in school. It was a different time back then, not as many pressures. I didn't have a care in the world. Lots of good memories from that time.

1990s. That was around the starting of kindergarten to the freshman year of high school. Great decade... unfortunately (for me) high school & college have sucked so far... so I can't say much about the 2000s.

the 1980's! Lots of women and no Aids! Party time! Things changed overnight when Aids hit!
Women were loose (meaning wanting to party) and gas was cheap!

The '80's and now. I was too young to care about serious consequences then. And now, because I didn't screw my life up too bad in the '80's to not enjoy one now.
