what browser is your son using? For IE you can simply check the history. you can also check the drop down for the URLs that he typed in. if he's smart enough to clear the URLs from the drop down box you can also check the temporary Internet files by going into windows explorer and click on the + sign beside drive c(or whatever the letter is for your drive that windows is loaded on), then click on the + sign beside documents and settings then click on the + sign beside owner then the + sign beside local settings then open the temporary Internet files. you should also check the temp files while you're there to see any pictures that are cached. an easier way in the yahoo browser or IE is click on tools, then Internet options ,then by the temporary Internet files click on settings then click on view files.
if he's smart enough to clear the temp files you can also check your firewall or check the cookies files if he didn't clear those too. if the temp files and the cookies are empty he is probably hiding something!!
best thing to do is watch what you're child does on the net and keep the parental controls activated if you don't trust him.you could also use a key logger or other free software to you check everything he types in. there are also the cache files that you can check.

Hi, you can use a program called screenlog 1 which records everything on the computer. You could also use a program called mykidbrowser. if you want to record everything done just use screenlog 1 and you can get it at www.downloads.com for FREE, you must type it in as I typed it in here when you do the search for it.-BUT- if you want to know that everything is totally blocked then use the kidbrowser. You could even use both. If you dont want to do either of them you could just click on the history tab and see where he has been, but to be sure I would use atleast screenlog 1.

If your child is not too savy, you can just check the history created by the web browser. Don't count on that. Instead, get software that tracks such information. He'll never know it's running. The same software is marketed to spouses who suspect infidelity. Good luck!
A more reliable solution is to never leave your son alone with a computer. It stinks, but it is the most reliable. It is possible that your son is taking precautions to prevent tracking his activities if he is up to something he knows he should not.

everytime you visit a webpage, the cmputer automatically generates a cookie of the webpage visited. To view the cookies in your internet explorer go to tools menu and click on 'Internet Options' ... Under the General Tab Click on 'Settings' and then click on 'View Files' ... A window will open showing you all the websites visited. If you have some other browser, then click Start and open Run... and write "D:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files" where D:\ is the root directory.

okay first look on top of the screen then click history and then this thing on the side will pop out that's when it will show you which sites it only takes 5 sec. to open it so it's really fast. and if you wanna make sure your child isn't looking at sites like that first click on start then click on settings after that click on control panel after that click on internet options after that click on security then click on trusted sites after that click apply then now your sure that your child isn't looking at any explicit sites.

Put a keylogger on your machine. It will record every keystroke he makes and then you can look at the log later to see where he's been on the Net. Your log will be password protected so only you can view it. Google "keylogger" to find one.
