Of course, the cheers and celebrations are subject to interpretation. That being said, my thought is that cheers by these enemies manes that they believe the winner of our election will enable them to advance their own policies, or at least not be as much a hindrance as other political opponents of the winner.

Shorty, ..when you see the rest of the world reacting to the election of a 'president', prim minister, king..what ever, in another country, it just means there are international opinions that reflect there concerns...what ever they happen to be.
Makes you stop and think about just how significant an event an election is ... i hope.
It gives you reason to consider carefully what kind of national image the rest of the world is going to deal with for the duration of that office,,... dont it?

The same thing it meant when Osama Bin-Laden made the video appearance to help Bush in the 2004 Presidential election -the terrorists want right-wing conservatives to continue in power so they can defeat America.

It means that the rest of the world thinks that we are a nation of imbeciles, and I guess I cannot disagree too much.
