How about one from mythology: Baucchus and Philemon?
An elderly couple who lived in austere poverty on the edge of a town filled with selfish and self-centered people. Two gods came to the town disguised as poor travelers looking for a place to sleep and a meal. They were turned away from each of the affluent families in the town, finally arriving at the elderly couple's hovel on the top of the hill where they were given the last food the couple had and allowed to sleep in their bed. When they awoke in the morning, the town was submerged in a lake, and the travelers revealed themselves as gods. The gods asked the old couple what they wanted for their generosity and said they would be granted whatever they wanted. B and P said as long as they had each other, they were rich and wanted for nothing, so could the gods just grant them life together and death together? The gods said "yes". Years more went by, and one day when the very old couple was sitting outside looking at the sunset over the lake suddenly their feet took root and they began turning into beautiful trees. They kissed and hugged for the last time and for many years after, people who came there could marvel at the beautiful trees entwined gracefully together in an eternal embrace.

i think of a funky tale thought is of a female who's a mysterious thief yet her terrific chum helps her dad (a detective) attempt to seize her (no one knows that shes actual the thief, its like a various identity) and he or she steals appealing artwork because of fact there are monsters hidden interior them yet people dont be attentive to it and the monsters are posessing the owner to be somewhat propose and its her job to renounce the monster. and whilst she's finished the portray turns sparkling and he or she gets slightly token yet at some point whilst shes in school her terrific chum unearths her little bag of tokens and unearths out yet she doesnt tell her that she stumbled on it and somewhat places it back in her locker with out her understanding and provides up on catching her on the grounds that she knows shes giving her terrific chum this way of difficult time. yet then the girl actual sees her bff stick it in her locker and realizes what a sturdy chum she is and theres this way of attractive air of secrecy (chortle) interior the city that 2d that the monster king dies and so do all his monsters and he or she doesnt could desire to flow steal issues anymore. the top!! heehee
