Skulls are the latest trend. But may begin to fade. They became popular months ago and are still in low end and high end boutiques.

It depends on how you usually dress. If your normally a more girlie kind of fashion. Then no. People will think you're a poser or something. But if your more of a skater/emo/goth. Then yes. They are sort of in. But not as much as like crosses and band t-shirts.

i was just shopping in greenwich conneticut today and was dismayed when i went into rugby by ralph lauren. tacky skulls everywhere. its infected king baby studio as well. yes it is a trend but dont follow it....

no they were in around the 80's came back in 06' and are still in but not for much longer with the exeption of goths

They have been for about a year. I seen them on everything - rings, necklaces, t-shirts, rings, belt buckles. I think it's beginning to wane though.
