last night at walmart he told me to go to the baby aisle and go get what else i needed that he would be in the hunting section. i went and got some things from the baby aisle and went to find him and he was standing there not looking at anything talking on the phone and seen me but moved toward the back of the store. i walked all the way over there and he had just hung up. I said who you talking to. he said this guys name and said he hung up because it dropped a call. we went to the other side of walmart and called the guy back and stayed on the phone and it didn't drop the call then. he calls me before he gets off work and asks if i need anything from the store. i wonder does he use this as an excuse. he has went to another aisle and was talking to someone like that before. what should i do to see if he's cheating.

I had a similar situation with my ex. In stores he would abruptly end his call or just hang up without saying bye if he saw me. He even did that when he came over. He would say he is going to the store across the street or supposedly have bad phone reception and needed to go outside. If he saw me come out the house he would walk in an opposite direction or suddenly end the call. If that was not the first time your husband did that I would be suspicious. He is talking to someone or involved in something that he does not want you to hear about. Ask him about his abruptly ending calls to see his reaction. If he gets defensive that means he is hiding something. The only thing you can do is start to track him. Take note of how many times he allegedly goes to the store after work and how long he takes to come home. Also take note of any other odd behavior like the phone calls. Then confront him about it. It is the only way to find out.

Here is what Sherlock Holmes would do.

1. You can get a copy of the cell phone bill. It will have the number and time of calls. You can go to the store or call the cell phone company. Now over the phone they might request a password so go to the store. Then if you call the phone number, call from a pay phone and ask for a guy if a girl answers. That way you will not alert your husband's mistress.

2. Check his underwear. After sex most guys are so dumb but see if he has any semen stains there. Check his underwear everyday and you can see that on the honest days his underwear will be clean.

3. Smell his clothes too. If he said he was at the office all day and goes to a bar you can probably smell the cigarette smell in the clothes. Along with any perfume smells too.

4, Check his odometer or mileage on the car. See the mileage each day. Then on the days he may stay late and supposedly comes straight home you can see if any mileage difference.

5. On the suspicious days check the car out without him knowing like in the trunk so see if he has any change of clothes there.

6. Check the credit card for charges to a motel room. or withdrawal from the checking account. You will have to match withdrawals for the days he acts strange.

First off guys aren't that smart about things like that.. But heres the problem.. If you start doing all of this and it's nothing well your going to ruin the trust in your relationship. Just because your marriage to him does not mean you are entitled to hear everything he discuss with his friends. Privacy is what it is called.. and smelling funny down there? No one smells like roses believe me. Your private parts are covered up all day,so how you you think it smells? Now you have no proof he's cheating right? Go to the doctor first, then worry about the rest later. Now answer these questions Does he work later alot? If so does his paycheck reflect it. Is he gone alot meaning going to the store and gone for hours? Do you know the friends he talks to? Has he ever cheated on you before? Are you a insecure person? Now after all these questions have been answered. Do the grown up thing and sit down and discuss this with him. The snooping crap has to be the last resort. Because if it's just your mind playin tricks on you your husband will be hurt, pissed and may never forgive you... If he was cheating why would he be so dumb to answer or call her while you guys are at the store together. That is just plain dumb. Tell how your feeling how him being secertive first. If his behaviors gets worse then go with the looking through the cell bill

Actually, did you call to find out who the guy was? It is not good that he would cover up with a guy there, meaning he thinks you're pressuring him. But if he is cheating, you should be able to figure it out soon enough. Get yourself checked out for STDs asap so you can ease your conscience that little bit.

If he's NOT cheating and you come flying in with accusations, he would act distant like he is now. So if you've been unfairly pinging on him, he likely feels you're too jealous. But let it go for a short while, then take a day off work when you think he's getting a rendezvous down and see. If he's a cheater, dump him like a Twinkie wrapper.

As one of my friends says..."If it smells like ****, and looks like ****, than it must be ****."

I'd probably be suspicious of him too. Yes, there are ways to see who he's talking too.....and he'd never know it.....

But what you should do to see is...first find out who it was he was talking too, take notes anytime you think he's behaving strange, go back and compare things if you have to later on. Compare bills to the notes....

Just follow your gut instinct......its usually right.

I was going to email you, but I'll just list it here...

I don't know what carrier he is, but I have cingular. You can log onto Cingular and go into your account. There is a listing of all calls made, the times they are made. Check out those numbers, especially if you don't recognize them. If there are any numbers listed around the time that you were suspicious of him (Wal-mart) then call the numbers, or do a search. They are probably cell phone numbers too. I'm sure all the other carriers do the same thing....

You have to remember, he can delete the call log from his phone, and he may be the one that gets the cell phone bill, and it may not be a detailed billing. If its not, call your carrier and have them change it over to a detailed billing and make sure you get the mail for a few months, to watch his cell phone activity.

Good luck and I hope its all nothing more....than a dropped call from a buddy.

This type of odd behavior (unfortunately) does not give us answers, it's perplexing. I went through this for almost two and a half years before he got caught. I hated it because I knew, I just couldn't prove anything. It's especially hard when they have a career where they travel, talk on the phone a lot, etc...

I recommend calling him out on any bullsh*t that comes up, and letting him know that he is not slick. If you don't say anything, it will cause him to think it's okay or that you are oblivious to what's happening. There's only one problem with this...you have to be prepared to act if you catch him, or if he admits anything. Otherwise what's the point? Good luck.

First of all I would get ahold of his phone bill or his cell phone and see if any of the calls are from a woman? Then if you to have a joint check account or even diffrent get a hold of them for the past few months and see if anything is diffrent. If he owns a car keep an eye for the milage is diffrent. If he is working out more using a new calone. If he is working late and you don't see his paycheck going up. And the best thing of all is go with your gut instinct. It is usually correct.

Well maybe his phone did drop, check it if you want. Just because he asks if you need things from the store doesn't suggest cheating it suggests he is being thoughtful. As for 'smelling funny down there', what does he usually smell like? I mean it can vary depending on what they eat. If you think you have something why haven't you gone to the dr. yet? If you do and he gave it to you, then yes you have a serious problem.

If you think he is cheating on you and he has given you reason to believe he is cheating, not to mention you think he has given you something, theres a good possibility he is. Can you get his cell phone and go back through his calls made, or calls recieved? I did this with my exhusband, I actually called the cell phone company, and asked them to search for one particular number, either calls made, or calls received on the bill... needless to say, the number was on there many times... part of the reason he is now my ex. Best of luck to you!
