I'm not trying to put my friends business out there, but I really want to help her and dont know where to turn. She is separated from her current boyfriend. She found out that he is still married to his ex-wife and has not filed for a divorce or formal separation. She is also 5 months pregnant with his child. She wasn't even aware about the wife, pretty much didnt know she existed and then he decided to tell her he is still married to her, but they have been separated for over a year and he does not want to be with her. Any suggestions on how to help her get out of this mess?

It sounds like he lied, big time...and he won't change...not when it comes to something as big as that.
She has to be ready to leave him. The best thing that you can do is be there for her, it might mean helping to pick up the pieces...but until she is ready to see the light with her own eyes, the only thing that you can do is stand back and be patient...because she will need you...and hopefully she will figure it out and believe it before her heart gets broken over and over again...This is a tough one, for both of you.

Shes in her own mess I would say. She is pregnant but it can't be his if he wasn;t in her life 4 the past year. Or was he? is it his child? if it is it is HIS mess. BIG BUCKS for the wife !!!!! Divorce time. She shouldn't be w / her guy b/c he sounds like a liar. She should go 4 child support if its his child.. What a mess.... Good luck

Yes. Leave. Period. No pleading until divorce papers are in hand. She is being used. Man, that's a cowardly dude.

She needs to get a lawyer, establish paternity, sue him for support and move on.

OBVIOUSLY this guy has serious issues... that is a REALLY big secret to keep....

make sure to get his paternity legally established, to claim child support. Blow off the "relationship"--it ain't there
