This was a paraphrase of an SAT prompt; I chose Ben Franklin as an example of an individual who could. I emphasized his technological advancements (2P) and moral example (3P) and inferred that he built the foundations upon which our modern society stands. How would u elaborate on my 2P or 3P or what figure would u have chosen? Edison and the Founding Fathers also come to mind. Then other Presidents like Lincoln, etc.

I would just like to quote Margaret Mead. I feel she is correct. "Never underestimate the power of a small, dedicated group of people to change the world-indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." I hope this helps you.

We don't place enough emphasis on individuals accomplishments rather were to critical of their accomplishments that why we never see advantages and the changes they could make in the world because we like to pick their ideas and achievements before we give it a test run. Yes individuals can shape the world alone maybe not the whole world but look at it this way if you were to go out today and brighten up someone day you've just made a difference/shape that one person world in that sense. Then together if everyone made a difference in one person's life it combines to make a huge difference in the world.

individuals initiate change, but society has to buy into it. MLK was a great leader, but if he was the only one who was civilally disobediant, no one would have noticed
