My favorite daytime soap is " The young & the Restless". I've been watching it for many years and there are always good storylines. I love Jeanne Cooper and the rest of the cast. One of the best characters is " Sheila Carter " She really shakes things up whenever she is involved in something. Storylines are about situations that possibly could happen. This soap also gives the opportunity to each of their characters to " shine" at some point, and give opportunities to a young generation of actors who turn out to be quite talented!

Why? I don't know probably because to me it doesn't seem like a normal soap opera.

Young and the Restless, because I like their story lines and they dont drag on so long like the other soaps. I do watch a couple others, but Y & R is my fave. My hubby watches it too when hes off.*

It started in grammar school in the 70's @ lunch we watched Dark Shadows and then 1/2 of All My Children. So I'm still hooked on AMC.

coronation street because the story line are not as predictable as the american soap operas.

Y and R. they are such good actors, all of them and they are so convincing. unlike the others , which have both good and bad actors and the bad ones just make it painful to watch. i cannot stand OLTL and AMC, their stock has plummeted. they are soooo bad. GH is ok. but i cant stand emily, natalia livingston, she is so annoying.
