Would you tell your neighbor to take down his x-mas lights?

After christmas was over. This was a question in a magazine poll. Two out of the 3 answered that they would say something to the neighbor. One said that it was her street as well and didn't want it to look "junky". If my neighbor said this to me, not only would I leave them up till July, I would light them. I take down the lawn stuff but I almost fell off the house getting those suckers up so they stay all year long(not lit). What do you think?

if they were up it wouldnt bother me, but if they were lit I'd just cut the cord when nobody was looking. Honestly! I agree its tacky and rude to leave x-mas lights up longer than a few weeks after christmas but I dont have the balls to approach a neighbor and say hey take that crap down either because they might do like you 'and leave them up til july'

In my area there is a radio station morning show that will call them on the air and talk smack to them about christmas lights being up....it's very funny to listen to...but those light are a pain in the butt....to put up and take down
