I have to attend the graduation ceremonies of both my best friend and my cousin, but neither of them know what date it will be held and they are both at different universities.

Basically they have both completed the exam element and both of them are doing their final-year projects this month, to be submitted in April. The results will come out in the summer. So bearing this in mind, would somebody be able to answer my Q?

Its very unlikely that they'll be on the same day. I was at Edinburgh and none of the faculties graduated on the same day and I went through to Glasgow for a mates graduation which was 2 weeks before mine. I reckon the odds are in your favour.

Hi Lara,

Different universities hold their graduation ceremonies on different dates, some have two graduations per year. Your university will be sending out graduation packs that tell you everything you need to know about your ceremony times, dates and location, gown hire and tickets for the ceremony for family members, photography and a lot of other information besides.

You should receive this in the next few weeks. Ask at the student information centre for details.

Have a wonderful day on graduation day.

Best wishes

No - different days, weeks AND months.

The city were I live - Bristol - has 2 Universities Bristol and UWE. Bristol University usually has it's graduation Ceremonies first - this take the best part of two weeks because there are so meny Courses/Departments. Then UWE has it's.

Some universities have graduation ceremonies in January/February others have them in October/November.

No they are on different dates but I find that the graduation days in the UK usually fall in June or November. This is from my own experience and having friends who have graduated!
