As long as they are consenting... any local notary should have the necc papers to make it all legal.

However, here is a GREAT link that has your state's info, so you can look it uo.

Damn! This is a weird set of circumstances! Most Grandparents just say O.K. or Nay and that's as far as it goes. I've never heard of Grandparents being asked to care for a grandchild and then expect to take sole custody from the parents. I mean most kids don't need too long to grow up. They get pregnant, have a child, realize they are still children themselves and request the parents take over. But, it's usually just a couple years until they can mature properly. Then they come back and take over, saying thanks allot Mom and Dad.
You on the other hand see this as an opportunity to create a bit of legal posturing. This is absurd! I don't think I like you very much! This just bites! I would never do this to my kids! My parents wouldn't have done this to me! Shame on you!

Just tempory custody u will have to see a lawyer and also get medical permission to treat them while u have them. Why on earth do they want to give up thier children? Even if this is a permanant situation u need to seek advise from a person who is qualified.

Call your county clerk's office to see what needs to be done. I am thinking you need a law office to draw up legal documents.
