Its been a long time since ive raised hamster babies but I think the hamster is ready to leave his mother. If you don't take them away the mother will try and mate the the baby

A two month old hamster is very much old enough to be away from mom.

You better give him away soon or at least put him in a different cage or he will be a daddy. that alone should indicate he is old enough to leave his mom. if you want babies again let him stay with her. not trying to mean or rude but mothers and son hammys will breed, and it is fine if they do as long as you want more babies.
