Every baby is different and one brand will work best for some while they don't work well for others. Unfortunately, sometimes is takes a lot of trial and error.

For example: My sister registered for all Avents because they were the "hottest new bottle" at the time and she couldn't use them. She ended up going through three more brands before finding out my niece did better with the VentAires.

Good luck!

Hello! I have never heard of Dr. Brown, but have been using Avent the last nine months. So far I am happy with them. The nurses at the hospital I had my baby at preferred Avent. If you decide on Avent, make sure to read the little pamphlet of instructions. There was some info in the pamphlet I would never have thought of. There will be an instruction regarding screwing the cap on to make sure you don't have a leak. Make sure and read that one. One last thing: As the baby gets older, you have to buy new nipples. There will be more holes for the milk or formula to flow through as the baby gets older. Hope this helped! Jen

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Browns. They are a pain in the butt to use, clean and even leak. I tried the Avent but my son just didn't take to it. He was not a gassy baby so I ended up with a plain regular Evanflo bottle. I would maybe try them both out & see what you think. I know that when I asked people which one they liked I got an even number for both brands.

I've used different kinds and ended up on Avent because of the air venting system that takes the air out of the nipple. They have different nipples for different ages and even have one that you can adjust the flow.
I guess you have to try both and see which ones help you the best.
every child is different.

Good luck

I dont think one bottle is better than the other. Both have air venting systems that are supposed to relieve colic. The nipples on both bottles are very different though, so it will probably be your baby's preference.
Good luck!

Every baby is different. My baby hates both!!!! You have to test them on your baby. And the 'prevent gas bubbles' is untrue. All bottles causes gas bubbles!!!! Good luck.
