Have you talked to your doctor about this? I gave birth to my first daughter at 35 weeks, Your body is probably preparing for labor. The baby could be moving down into the birth canal. As for the second question are you sure you don't have hemmroids? My first baby i didn't realize i had them until i asked my doctor and she said i did and pointed them out to me. All the pressure of the baby will make them pop out ( i know it sounds gross). Also i described to my friends that giving birth felt like pooping a 5lb turd, just to let you know what you up against (if this is your first). Good luck and call your doctor!

i'm 34 weeks and I get a lot of braxton hicks contractions.
I know that when i've had a lot to eat in the preceeding days, that it makes it hurt when i finally end up having to go to the bathroom. There is all this extra added pressure, so it makes the contraction feel like it is lasting forever. Food backs up into your system very easily creating more pressure on the rectum. I understand that pain.
try incorperating more fiberous foods into your diet, that way you get on a regular #2 schedule and it will be less painful.
Don't forget, the positioning of the baby is always changing.
I can't tell you how many times i have lost my bladder because the baby was blocking my bladder then all the sudden when the baby shifts, i have this overly full bladder that has to empty right this second and i can't get to the bathroom fast enough.
It is very frustrating, but hang in there, the baby will be here soon enough and things will be back to normal.

Starting with the second question..
You maybe a little constipated. The baby has dropped and is leaning against your intestines. I would drink some more juice this week. And warm or hot water. *hot tea is good*

Also you can have hemorrhoids inside and not know it. Unless you had a anal exam this week telling you there was not any.

As for bringing on contractions when using the restroom...
Are you having Braxton Hicks most of the day?
If not I am worried you may becoming dehydrated. And your having bladder contractions.

I would consult your doctor Monday if it is not better by then. Drink some cranberry juice in the am at night may cause heartburn. OJ or cranberry juice is good for the bladder. You could add water to both so it lowers acid levels. *heartburn*

So for both questions drinking more will help.

Good luck , take care

Probably Braxton-Hicks, but call the dr to make sure. If they go away when you move around, then you'r enot in active labor...just preparing for the real thing. Good luck!

You are in labor.

This is what happened to me...i had to go poo but not really and it was painful...this was becuase i was having the urge to push but baby wasn't ready yet and so all i was doing was straining and causing more pressure.

I can garentee baby will be here real soon. If it keeps up today go to the hosptial...
