Yes this is a seriou question, and tes I have a hard time forgetting my childhood. My father was a severe alcoholic! It was awful!!!!!
When I was 12 I tried to kill myself, I just could not take anymore, yelling, fighting etc. Thank God I am here. I know I became a good person who cares about others! Oh old wounds, sometimes they just pop up and I cry.

Yes, with bad memories I try to envision putting them in a garbage can, and at the botom of the can is an endless fiery pit where the memory gets burned up forever.

Works for me.

everyone has had something in their life that they would like to forget about, some are harsher then others and some are just better left unsaid. Just remember there is a time when you have to stop letting yourself be victumized and start being a survivor. We will leave the rest unsaid, I chose to be a survivor.

The things you keep telling yourself to forget are the things that you'll always remember.

When you start to remember those things, just think about happy times.

Well, there's been this girl on my mind that I boinked... I tried to forget her, but it was no use, so I went back and she said ok, so we boinked again and again... and now she's really stuck in my mind...

Moral of the story: boinking just makes it worse if you really want to just forget someone.

I have tried to forget about when my hubby had cancer but the thoughts still keep comming back and making me worry. I worry for him and my kids and myself or that matter! I pray every night he never gets it again and my children and myself never get it.
