I want to have a computer in my small room. I have a Magnavox CRT TV. Theres no room for a bulky monitor so I wanna connect the PC to the TV without modifying the video,sound,or any hardware. Id use my computer for surfing the web, playing games, occasionally watching videos, typing, e-mail, and chatting. Please help!!!!!! thannkkksssssssssssss.

The frequency response of a CRT TV is much too low, and the picture will be very blurry. Especially print.

Heinz is right. He meant the "refresh rate" is too low on TV's, but he's nevertheless right. All televisions look horrible when displaying text from a computer. Video and games are somewhat better, but still nowhere near what ANY computer monitor would look like.
