It is against the law. People put viruses on there. You think you are downloading a song and it turns out to be a virus.

I knew someone who downloaded it. He loved downloaded 300 free songs onto his ipod. He comp slowly started to slow down to the point of crashing at times. Its illegal too. If you wanna take the risk of getting prosecuted and don't care about your crappy comp go ahead. But if your smart don't!

i use it for my 2g shuffle
i download the song then go into the limewire library and right click what i had downloaded then click stop sharing then its safe

its fine. It doesn't have virus infected files, as long as you don't download bad stuff like porn. I've been using it for two years. I downloaded 1,160 songs and 27 videos for my iPod, and no viruses.
