Usually a great tip is to use only one piece of bright color and use it to accent everything. Use jeans and maybe the same color yellow shoes if you really want color.

khaki pants and dark brown casual shoes, with a dark brown belt --OR blue jeans and the same brown shoes...or if the shirt is kinda casual, wear tennis shoes with the jeans.
