While my husband and I haven't been ttc, we were careless w/ BC on 2/16 and 2/19. My first day of my last AF was 2/8. I have a strange feeling I may be pregnant (which we would be happy about, regardless of conscious intent). I've read everything I can about early pregnancy signs on the medical websites -- but I'm interested in hearing about personal stories. What, if any, symptoms did you have before missing a period?

Truthfully, none, and if I did they were the same as PMS, such as sore boods. Sorry, I was always looking for those early signs too, but I never had any. However, at one day late I knew I was preggers because I'm usually never late. I hope what ever happens though, that you are happy.

I could never trust missing periods b/c i could miss 4 and nothing be wrong. i used to take birth control to keep regular (i'm 5 months pregnant with my second) but both times my breasts were sore and sensitive. this second time i didn't really know i was preg. until i was sick at the ER and they did bloodwork. I actually thought i might have had breast cancer b/c a certain area of one of my breast was sore, especially when i touched it. But it turned out i was just pregnant. my first time i had the morning sickness also, but not this pregnancy. So everyones and every pregnancy is different. Good luck!

11 early signs of pregnancy

1. Delay of Menstruation
Late? While this is a key sign of pregnancy, other possible causes could be excessive weight gain or loss; fatigue; hormonal problems; stress; birth control; and breastfeeding.
2. Nausea and Vomiting
Feeling nauseous? It could be morning sickness, but it could also be food poisoning, stress, and a variety of other stomach disorders.
3. Tender or Swollen Breasts
Breast tenderness is a common first sign of pregnancy that typically begins one to six weeks after conception.
4. Feeling Exhausted or Sleepy
Can?t stay awake? Fatigue is definitely a sign of pregnancy but can also be caused by stress, illness, depression, and other mental strains.
5. Backaches
An aching back can signal pregnancy, but usually it?s not an issue until the second or third trimester
6. Frequent Headaches
For some women, headaches are a painful sympton of pregnancy, typically caused by higher estrogen levels.
7. Food Cravings
Dying for potato chips? Can?t stop dreaming of dairy? Want a pickle so bad you can taste it?

Has the area around your nipple gotten darker? This is a common sign of pregnancy that starts about one to 14 weeks after conception and lasts throughout the pregnancy.
9. Frequent Urination
Gotta go?again?! Frequent urination is a sign of pregnancy, and usually begins about six to eight weeks after conception.

quite darkish and/or profuse lip hair, thickening of pubic hair, carnal insatiability, ringing in only one ear, spontaneous dizziness, quite bright aims, quite boring aims, absence of aims, large quantity of aims (are you noticing a type the following?), unexpected dislike of the feel of pickles/cucumbers, and all kinds of different arbitrary issues. the needed theory in the back of any "previous wive's tale" signal is to bounce on something that looks spontaneous and arbitrary and declare that it truly is an illustration. even as in truth it truly is often using different factors that are rather a lot totally unrelated. besides the undeniable fact that in case you start up getting truly particular about colour options for even the most trivial of issues then you definately understand that you're pregnant.
