If I stretch my earlobes...?

to 14 gauge, will my earlobes go back to 18 gauge if I keep them at 14 for many years?

14 is very tiny. alot of commercial earrings are sold as 14g.

actually 14 and 18 are quite similar.

i've seen some people go as low as 8 and have thier ears go back to somewhat normal after a while. granted, the hole never heals to look like a virgin ear, but the scar is minimal, as well as the pucker.

this doesn't really apply to you, but it is good info to know for anyone who is considering stretching to bigger size. the healthier you stretch, the more likely the skin will return to its original (or as close as it can get) state.
this means massages, lotion and careful planning on behalf of your piercist.
however, after a certain point in the stretching, (which varies from person to person) your ears will look like bum-holes for the rest of your life after you take out the plugs.

Your question easily doesnt make too a lot sense to me. I easily were a specialist piercer for six years and your age, relying on guidelines on your section do no longer count number how a lot you may stretch your ears. i'd say a 2 gauge is demanding to get decrease backtrack to everyday, and that i wouldnt advise stretching better than once each 2-3 months or so. Please bypass to a properly-time-honored proffesional and ask those questions. via asking about "the point of no go back" it doesnt look like you're prepared to do it.

Please dont do it! It looks disgusting and on your wedding day your not gonna want to have to tie your ear lobes up behind your veil for fear of them trailing on the ground behind you. Sorry but thats just my opinion.
