I was in Ireland hiking, I saw a news report on a TV in a shop. I assumed it was an airplane flying into a building. Later that night, in the pub I saw the big screen TV news report. A group of Americans were frantically trying to call people they knew in the U.S. " My god", I thought, "That was no accident, that took planning."

Plains? As in Kansas?
Or, do you mean planes?
I was at home watching the Today Show before I went to work.
At first I thought it was a small plane that flew into the building. Then, as the news went on, it wasn't a small plane after all. I still thought it was a tragic accident until the second plane hit.

gas works in yet in a various way than shares. collectively as the financial gadget is nice, shares upward push and gas costs fall. different is genuine collectively as the situations are undesirable. Immediatly after 9/11, we've been all in "omg the worldwide is gonna end" mode and as a results of this the financial gadget went down. even nevertheless the recession we've on the on the spot is due extra advantageous to diverse factors (like Enron, the housing marketplace etc...) and somewhat has little or no to do with 9/11 itself.

I had just come out of the super market and was driving home listening to the radio. The first plane had already hit and I got home, turned on the tv, and the second plane hit. What a horrible nightmare.

Woke up early for work (when I lived in Vegas) and saw it on the news. I was half asleep, and thought I was having a nightmare! Turned out to be a real life nightmare!

I was in my first year of university in my psychology class. The prof stopped and suggested we all go home and watch the news after he heard the 2nd plane hit.

I was getting dressed to go sub in a 5th grade classroom and it was awful, because as a teacher we aren't supposed to really discuss this stuff, but many of the kids had family involved etc. It was awful.

I was in 5th grade. One of my classmates had left her backpack at home, so her grandma brought it. I remember her saying something about planes and I got worried because some of my friends were going to be flying somewhere later that week.

I slept through the whole thing. My mom was awake and knew about it but didn't bother to wake me up and tell me before she went to work. I actually heard about it when my brother called the house to tell us that he was alright. He was in the army at the time training at some fort in southern Arizona. He's the one who told me about it.
