Approx 30 years of age.
Main narrative of Davids life is found in the Books of Samuel and 1 Kings !+2 David also penned alot of the Psalms (73 in total)
He was also an adulterer -(Bathsheba) and a murderer -(Uriah)

I believe he was 30, but technically he was anointed king earlier while Saul was still king.
