I don't think that people are telling you because they're afraid of hacking and stuff like that. If you get a free account, you wont be missing mutch. It's not like a free trial, it's a real account, only you can't buy things. You can still be a sectret agent and a tour guide, and club penguin gives away free clothes sometimes, so your penguin wont allways be naked.
