My 2000 Grand Prix did that after after driving a while specially on stopped traffic. Also at high speed also the rpm oscillated when accelerating. In other words after warming up. I took it to Napa to have the transmission flush and cleaned by chemicals. After that it really improved but it was still doing it. I added a can of Trans X and it is almost gone. Also the car drives much better overall.

Could be the vehicle is out of alignment or a CV halfshaft/wheel bearing, and possibly several other things including various electronic sensors. I agree with the other poster, Saturns are famous for being junk. I would consider a Toyota if you're looking for a fuel efficient compact.
