After nearly 5 months of 4 different antibiotics, my wife took her last antibiotic the first of February, having not experienced any abnormality of her period timing (period came when on placebo tablets). The first period after coming off antibiotics, however, came a week and a day early. Then the next week, during the placebo pills, she had nothing. She continued on her normal regimen, expecting it to correct itself and figuring that might be normal after heavy antibiotic loads and a sudden change due to stopping the antibiotics. Today her period is one week and two days early and she again has a week of regular pills left to take during this apparent early period and her placebos don't start until next week. She just wants to get things back on track so that her period comes with the placebos again. Since tomorrow is Sunday, if anyone sees this tonight, she might could change her regimen starting tomorrow if she should, or she can keep normal schedule and hope it self corrects.

talk to the doctor, that is weird. oh yeah, the antibiotics can also render the birthcontrol useless, so it might actually be that it is really actually working now. it should regulate, use back up just in case and talk to the doctor.
