Maybe he had a better idea of when to stop.
Not that I care, I'm more interested in the music of these men, not their media - hyped drug habits.
Can't help thinking that's the way it should be, sigh.....

Not entirely sure but if you look at band pics off the Up the Bracket album and the What became of the likely lads?-single, he looks pretty f****d up to me. Maybe hes just a casual user.
But anyways who cares Pete & Carl are geniuses!!!

i have continually been of the opinion that The Libertines become the better of the bands. i imagine it comes all the way down to music writing. Barrent and Doherty are 2 very diverse music writers and that i imagine mutually they made tremendous songs, aside they're lacking a touch. grimy fantastically issues make tremendous, yet a touch shallow songs and BabyShambles have very exciting and sensible songs that lack pop sensibilities that cause them to accessible and listenable. even as they're togeather, as contained in the Libertines, they make the desirable songs.

oh..Pete and Carl are geniuses....what a load of fukkin rubbish,Pete Docherty should be strung up. What good role models eh!...junkies who cant play their instruments...very good They should be jailed,or severly battered....a complete pair of wasters...Talent...dont make me laugh,because anyone who plays any instrument,knows they are just junkie chancers
