I have a $100 visa debit card (a gift) and I want to know if I can put it straight into my bank account

I don't think you can do that. You can call your bank and ask them though.
If you can't, just use it as your cash on hand until it's gone. Then you shouldn't have to go to an ATM to get money out.

Nope, you can't use those as cash. I mean you can only use it to buy stuff, but you are not allowed to get real cash from it. Visa is accepted every where, just go buy what you nned to buy or pay.
