The clutch isn't fully releasing or part of the clutch facing is lightly brushing against the flywheel or pressure plate when you have the clutch depressed.

It is possible that the Slave Cylinder might be weak - the clutch is probably OK as long as there is no slippage while in gear.

clutch drag...........not fully releasing......check clutch release mechanism..........mechanical linkage is adjustable.....hydraulic system,s usually need to be bled.....also check clutch & pressure plate for overheating.......may have warped pressure plate.
