Alright Im in a Yahoo custom with 12 people. I missed the draft but still preranked and got some solid players that I wanted, but some that i clearly didnt want..I'm not as avid in baseball as i am in football and basketball so help me out here a little because I really want to kick some ***. Im not going to list the top free agents so if you are in a yahoo team with 12 you should have the jist of the list.. heres my team

actually you have a really solid team. 8.5/10
pitching: very good starters, chris young especially is a great unknown. and peavy should have a great rebound year, along with hernandez. you may want to watch during the season for other closers, since you only have wagner. but thats a respectable strategy, you can always find saves during the season, just watch the sports pages.
offense: you are solid at 1b, 2b. average at c, 3b, and ss. drew is a risky pick since he is a rookie, but he is one of the sleepers. chaves is a middle tier 3b, you could have done better, but not bad. the outfield is a bit weak. swisher should be great, but the two other guys are worrisome. laroche should be great at the utility position on your team. and teahen will gain outfield eligibility during the season so hes a respectable option. cameron is not really great. also you are weak in the stolen bases category.
options: you may want to offer one of your starting pitchers for a base stealing outfilder with a little power. or see if dave roberts is on the waiver wire and pick him up.

very solid pitching staff...I would see if alex gordon is on the waiver wire and then try to trade chavez' for someone like figgins or some utility player that plays multiple positions and gets steals so if a player goes down with an injury, you will be able to plug him in. Good Luck!

your team looks good but how come your league doesnt have util because if u did u should ortiz there and laroche on 1st cause he is one of the top ranked firstbasemen and ortiz just hits so if u can ask ur commish if he can put util because im a commish and he can change the postions and add some and take some off
