I believe you are asking us the meaning of this phrase: "The Mother of all Invention"?

I believe that it means: "The Mother" is such a big idea that it's the beginning or even the 'seed', that was the source for all the OTHER inventions that followed)...

Which leads me to ask another question: "Which came first, the chicken or the egg"? I believe that the answer might be: "The Mother of Invention" could be the one responsible for both the chicken OR the egg...~ whichever came first?! ...(and never mind, asking who could be the "Father of Invention")?!...
