I work at a retail store near my house and I see a lot of kids who I go to school with. They all ask for the discount even the ones who don't like me. I only give the discount out to my family and my closets friends. I find it weird that people who said that "Act white" because I'm in AP classes now want to be my friends because I have some money in my pockets. This is a good way to know who you're real friends are.

Good job seeing through the the fakes. There is a saying that applies here. Birds of a feather flock together. If you leave your "flock" then you may be considered a traitor. If you join some others "flock" they believe you have seen the light. Others want to be part of a group. Safety in numbers or because people are social creatures.
