im a goth and i want to look preppy for a day?

i hate people thinking im a freak so i need to know how to dress and do my makeup so i can go one day with out people talking about me like theres something wrong with me

K first, buy some lipgloss/lipstick.
Put masacara on your eyes. Put A LITTLE eyeliner on.
If you have any blemishes, cover them up.
Straighten your hair.
Wear light colors for your shirts (pink, blue, yellow, white)
And they should be FORM FITTING
Also, for your pants. Wear form fitting pants that aren't really dark. And just be outgoing and talk to people!

Honestly you shouldn't worry about what others think of you, but I know it's hard to ignore the comments that people make.

I think you should compromise the way you look..
like mix the goth and the preppy look together so you can feel more comfortable.
Like for example instead of wearing tonnes of eye makeup (in particular eyeliner) wear only a little bit and avoid dark lipstick..
and mix and match your clothes so that you still wear black but have another colour with it... like black tights and a blue shirt or something..

In the end i guess it's really how comfortable you feel... if you like your gothic look then stuff everyone else! ;)

Use a little mascara, lipgloss, and foundation to cover up any blemishes. Then just some cute jeans and any top really. A cute long sleeve, a polo, a band t-shirt, or a cute sweater or sweatshirt. That's how normal people dress.

wear ur hair in a cute bun type thing and light makeup wear a cute mini skirt from abercrombie or hollister flip flops are always trendy try tht out and sweetie u shouldnt care if ppl think ur a freak do this if u want but its better to show who truly are instead of covering it up

just go to abercrombie, limited too, and or hollister, wear a lot of pinks, blues, and whites, wear a mini skirt, put on sum makeup (natural looking with pink undertones), put ur hair down (if not already), and ur all set

Why would you want to make them happy and be like everyone else? I'm gothic too, and it gets to me sometimes too, but that makes me even more into it. I like being differnet and odd! I don't want to be like them. I don't think you should be preppy for a day, that is just giving in. Fight for what you want. And it isn't that bad getting called a freak or a weirdo...is it?

i think you should be perfectly fine with who you are. i think goths are awesome. i dont like preps much. if you want to look preppy for a day wear stuff from abercrombie and hollister and stuff. i dont know anything about makeup cuz im a guy... so good luck!

just be yourself. it doesnt matter how you dress or do your make up, no matter what, ppl are always guna have something to say. and i say **** all those people that do say stuff to you...you dont need them, im sure you have friends that love you and actually know you and dont just judge you by the way you dress. sometimes i dress tacky & its really just a way of expressing myself. but dont try to be something your not, that'll only make you a poser

you should be true to yourself and dress as you please. If you are looking for a more preppy look then try looking at the weekend papers for how people dress.
