Nah, that pretty much applies to everybody. Do you think people will ever remember that Jack the Ripper may have been an altar boy or that he saved many lives before becoming the evil creature that he was?

That's not true all the time unless you have only very negative people in your life. I feel that many of us are harder on ourselves than anyone else is. Maybe you are feeling this way about yourself and erroneously think that others are thinking that way too. So, be true to yourself. Be your own best friend and everyone else will follow your lead.

It applies to everyone...you can have a lifetime of achievements and then have one mess up and THAT is what you get remembered for, unfortunately.

Nope, it happens to me, and what ticks me off the most is that I could go beyond my duties, and no one notices, but mess up. my god, it is the end of the world. Oh well, life goes on, and in the grand scheme of things, it will be a non-factor in the future....GOOD LUCK and keep your head up.

No, my mother-in-law remembers every bad thing I or anyone else she has ever known has done and she never talks about anything else, except dead people and dead cats.
