Can't he make up his mind?, like he's a team hopper, or hop-skotcher, he was with the Browns for one year, Lions for one year, Eagles one year & now I hear he's going to another team. Gosh, why can't a team just want for the rest of his career, plus he's 37 & he's like Brett Favre's age, he should just retire. Also, he's engaged to Carmella Decesare, she's 24, man, he's too old for her, geeze.

I'm not sure why the Eagles let him go. Garcia is far from washed up. He proved that he is in his prime this year. Give him a good offensive line and he is as good as any. The Cowboys should have snagged him. He is a SB quarterback! When it comes to his personal life? Well it should be left personal. Age and relationships are not always a factor. If anything older is better.

The Browns let him go because they weren't winning with him (really, they weren't running the West Coast offense, which is all he understands). The Lions, pretty much the same thing. The Eagles simply couldn't start him ahead of McNabb, and Tampa Bay apparently thinks they can win with him.

It's not really about his making up his mind, it's the nature of free agency and being an older QB. He was supposed to be a backup in Philly, but he proved he can still win as a starter when McNabb got hurt, so TB is taking a chance on him.

As for retiring because he's Favre's age... Favre hasn't retired, why should Garcia?

He does move a lot,in this case I don't think it's his fault, the eagles were not going to bench Donovan and let Garcia start, also Garcia proved that he still can win games as a starter and he wasn't going to sit on the bench either,so something had to give,as for marrying a younger woman,I don't want to sound pessimistic but I doubt Decesare would be engaged to Garcia if he wouldn't be worth something finacially in the football field.

Dude he just wants a first string job and the eagles would not give him that so they made a mutual agreement. The eagles are stupid for keeping McNab over Garcia all Mcnab does is get injured and choke. The only reason the Eagles got eliminated in the playoffs was because of bad reffing at the saints and eagles game. One last thing go niners.

That's a good question. Probably because it's hard to tell what type of player he really is. He's done ok at times, really good last year with the Eagles, but not so good in the past. Teams aren't willing to take a chance on an erratic qb.

Garcia is a good QB, but not a SB type QB. So he cant be a starter, for his age and ability. He needs to take a backp role for a SB bound team, then he can get a bigger contract than 1yr.

If you were 37 and could get 4or5 million bucks a year by going to a different team, what would you do? Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.
