My dad is putting in a CD burner that I just bought into the computer and the instructions say to "carefully remove the computer cover". How does he do this?

The screw's are on the back of the case, the four at top is a cover, you don't have to remove whole cover just disconnect there and remove drive and install new drive. Me i would have gotten a external burner cost the same and are built better then internal one's.All you do is plug into usb and your ready, after inst cd.

Unscrew the screws that are on the right side of the tower when the back is facing you. Slide the cover towards you. Make sure you have good power connectors and appropriate CD drive controllers.

On the back of the outer casing of the tower (around the border should be three or four screws), make sure everything is unplugged and carefully pry or slide up and off (away or towards you) with a butter knife or screw driver. Whatever you use, make sure you discharge the static from your body before touching anything inside the case. Good Luck!
