I personally think it sounds feminine for a boy, but i know a boy named Jamie.

I've never been a fan of names that could be either a boy or a girl. of course, then I went and named my son sammy, so what do I know. I would suggest using a formal name like James, Jameson, Jamel. And you can use Jamie as a nick name. that way if he decides he wants a manlier or more professional name later in life, he can use the formal version. like my son's name is Samuel, but we call him Sammy for now, he'll probably switch to sam when he gets older, or maybe samuel for when he becomes a big successful lawyer, hehe. I don't think Jamie is especially feminine but I would probably only use it as a nickname.

I'm a girl named Jamie, but I have always liked it for a boy's name, also. It doesn't sound too feminine as a boy's name. I don't think it sounds too masculine for me, either. I think it's just right for either sex. Sounds good to me...

Well, not really. Jamie can be both a women's or men's name. It's just that people "might" make fun of you. But really, I mean like, there are many boys out there called Jamie. Like people say, it's all an opinion.

I hope this helped~ *^^*

I am not sure but I thought Jamie was originally a male name although it's unisex today. Doesn't sound to feminine to me.

A "name" is just one's way of other to identify you and communicate with you.

A "name" of any kind is unisex.

You don't have to attach a gender to it.

I think Jamie is a very beautiful or very handsome name.

It's a unisex name. However, I've known three Jamies and all of them had been female. Whenever I hear the name, I think of females.
