Espadrilles can have the tie that goes around your ankle, but espadrilles just mean that the sole is made of a rope like material. the shoes that are like slippers are ballerina flats. And I love them, I own 3 pairs that I bought for spring.

I've always called them ballet slippers, but this probably won't help you much since they have ballet flats!
