There were episodes that gave differrent explanations. One said that they met while serving jury duty. Another one said that they met while serving in the army. BTW, one episode had their fathers meeting...Felix's father was the eye doctor for Oscar's dad, who was a gangster. This was a great show, but it would've been nice if there was one story...for character history sake...on how they met.

Felix and Oscar met on Jury Duty.
This is one of the old shows I try to catch whenever it comes on TV. It was truly a classic that I enjoyed so much.

Apparently they met several times, in several different ways. The opening song states they met as childhood friends.....then the jury duty episode, the army, and yet another one or two. Wonder how that happened! Still, a great show. Enjoy it today as much as yesteryear.... :)
