There are a number of them online. Most of them are limited to certain areas of the country or world so you may need to look at various sites. Just google "turtle identification".

Not off the top of my head, but is there any way you could describe the turtle(s)?
is it an aquatic turtle or a land turtle?

If you have a digital camera, you could post a photo here through a photo-sharing website like photobucket. Someone might recognize it and save you the time of looking through lots of photos.
