I was thinking of switching from verizon DSL, phone to cable internet and phone and I was worried if i could still use our Dlink wireless router so we could still use our laptops (2) upstairs. I would also save about $70 a month. thanks

yes all you have to do is plug in your ethernet cable to the router and run the set-up wizard if it does not do it automatically. you shouldnt have any problems with switching.

Yes. It'll work with cable or DSL. You're DSL modem would be replaced with a cable modem and you'll need to change the WAN settings in the DLink router, but everything else will remain the same.

Yes, of course - but I would clear all my settings after the switch in ISP's by finding the reset button on the router and pressing it. Hook up your DSL first - then go through the set up for the Dlink by using the CD.

yes cable is actually the smarter choice for wireless users. Your going to get a faster broadband speed from cable that you just cant get from DSL. You will need to reconfigure your laptops once you install your cable modem but after that I think you would be pleased

Yes you can still use your wireless router with your cable high speed internet service to connect to your two laptops.

Yes. I use cable internet and I have two notebooks that connect to the Internet using the wireless. I suggest that you get the extreme internet access which allows for I believe 768kb/s
