When I first heard your title, I laughed my butt off. I think it would be great! But you know how people are.... They always think they know what's best for everyone else.
Maybe if you toned it down a bit.... and called it:
"The Texas Leaf Blower Massacre"

What did you pitch?
You mentioned the word "idea". Was there a SCREENPLAY?,.. If not, then a fully DEVELOPED idea, (treatment) in addition to some connections would probably be the very least you'd need to even get your foot in the door.
ALSO: the TITLE may be an infringement on the "..Chainsaw.." version,.. 'not sure.
Give yourself a pat on the back if you were even able to get a response!,... 'not bad!
