I was wondering if in Oregon if my husband and I are moving into an apartment, do we both need to fill out an application or just one of us since we are married?

You both fill one out. Landlords want full information on whoever is going to be living there, and they will come after one or both of you if necessary.

It depends on how comfortable the landlord of the apartment is with you. The landlord may insists that both of you signed the agreement or one party. There is no statutory law on this. Its very much a private arrangement.

Normally one suffices for a married coupled. There may be sign--offs required for both as financially responsible.

All full time live in adult residents need to sign the lease agreement, excluding children of any age.
