my ex passed away in a car accident a year and half ago. I was depressed after that for about 5 months or so. Well, i took care of the problem and i wrote a letter telling him goodbye. I've moved on. But every day during that depression i cried, and i'd walk out and put on a happy face when i was around other people. For some reason, i can't really cry for anything, and when i do, i either can't cry or i cry for a few seconds and then i'll stop crying.

Your soul injury was great. In the long healing, you "took care of the problem" telling him goodbye, and to heal. I would guess that you vowed to yourself to be strong, i.e. show no more tears. The strength of that vow will humanly soften in time, and you will again receive the gift of being able to cry.

Because the thought of loss is depressing, but you cant force yourself to cry if your already mentally over the situation. If this happens your over his passing, although you feel remorse for his death...but that's all.

one symptom of severe depression is the inability to cry...as if you're "all cried out"

I don't think you're over the accident yet....you might want to seek professional help or get motivated to focus on more positive things in your life.

Good luck

why would you feel you need to cry now? Prehaps you are past that early greiving stage after beavment and are in the anger stage, or have gone to the acceptance stage. think about it

I would say you're still depressed. Are you taking any medications or supplements?

its an asset and very fregile .....did u ever notice aftercrying a little you feel fresh and satisfied.actually its a natural phenamenon.the one you love occupies your heart and soul..and when you loose him soul excepts the fact and heart refused,..
