To add to the last two posters, it seems there are many youths taking part in the riots who aren't even Danish! About 50 arrested were from Germany and Germany youths are being stopped at the border and denied entry if it is believed their intent is to join in on the riots. Initially, many supported the youths and thought the kommune (town) should leave the house for the kids. Recent events and the violent turn however have probably changed some minds..... kids now just wanting to cause trouble... it kind of reminds me of the riots a few years ago I believe in Montreal after a sports win (can't remember if it was for the Stanley Cup or World Series) ... what was wrong in Canada then? There wasn't even a cause being spoken against!

Are you talking about all the people being arrested in the last couple of days? If you are, they were living in a house called 'Ungdomshuset' (The youth house/center). They didn't own it and when the house was sold they got angry and started protesting.
