I have no cdue what it is. Ive heard it is puberty but I just wanted to make sure. Im 13 at the moment 14 in 3 months. And i dont want it to be anything bad.

This question reminds me of when I was your age. Don't be afraid at all. I can tell you why..... I am 33 now but I had this same thing at your exact age. My cousin and I grew up together and were only 3 months apart in age. He had the same thing a few months before I did. They are tender and senstive to the touch and feel like two little BB's right under the nipple. You'll probably start seeing other evidence of puberty soon if you haven't already - such as deeper voice, thicker facial hair, getting BO if you don't wear deodorant, etc.

I'm a moderator at a teenage puberty site and we get plenty of these threads. Some of our members have gone to the doctor for it and they all get told that it's normal during puberty. It's caused by a temporary imbalance in hormones. It some guys it lasts a few weeks and others a few months. The nipple is usually tender with a "ball" under it. Your age sounds ripe for this, too. I also had it.

I'm a nurse. It could be from a cyst to anything. These type of things should be seen by a doctor right away. I don't want to scare you but seeing a doctor is best. This way you will have it taken care of so it won't turn into something worse. Take care and I wish you all the best.

Tell your mom or dad; they should be able to determine if it needs to be looked at by a doc. Please tell them, it's probably no big deal but it's always best to be safe than sorry.
