If you don't like either candidate then what fool votes for someone he doesnt like? What fool sits in his chair and doesnt vote at all? Vote for a third party! Its like saying "my guy is'nt going to win so I won't vote for him" Are you really that lazy that you would just sit there and not voice your dissent by voting for an alternative?

VOTE FOR SOMEONE YOU WANT IN OFFICE!

Note this IS a question. I know it isn't phrased that way but I'm really interested in the responses I get.

I'm busted and really red faced. I am so opposed to the main two parties that I pay little or know attention to them. I just assumed that Obama was republican. Please substitute democrate/republican for obama/clinton. My apologies.

Alan H. My point exactly. Third parties are the no confidence vote. They have no chance of winning but you still get to let people know that its not just apathy that kept them from getting your vote.

I agree with you! Choosing the best of all bad alternatives makes no sense.

I really feel a "none of the above" type of vote should be available. Some sort of a generic "no confidence" by the public.

Thank goodness we live in a democracy where we do get choices. I always say, if you don't vote, you don't have the right to complain. It is really sad that we as Americans, completely and totally become apathetic during elections and don't vote. Not me! I'm so excited about voting, that I always go and early vote! I'm supporting John Edwards, knowing he can overcome the lack of media coverage he and other democratic candidates get unless they're Hillary or Barack. I'm so excited about his candidacy, I'm driving to San Antonio, TX, on Wed from Austin to see him at a rally. It'll be be worth the hour and a half drive!

More and more citizens of the country are dissatisfied with the uninspiring candidates the two corporate parties present to them. We all need to understand that we do have a third choice; the third party and independent candidates. The more we vote for the lesser of the two evils, the worse our country becomes. Let's all take a stand and stop the destruction of our beloved country.

I would probably vote for John McCain. He has some half decent plans for Iraq that do not include pulling out early (pulling out early would encourage the terrorists into thinking they won and leave us open to more attacks).

Clinton, Obama and John Edwards have started electioneering early.

There is still plenty of time for Al Gore and his sidekick, Joe Lieberman, to arrive on white horses...

What if you think that the people who really control US Govt. are Special interests & lobbyists and it doesn't really matter who you vote for including a 3rd party? Then what?
