Ok I was just wondering if there's such a thing as a .69 caliber cartridge (ie has one ever been made) because in a video game (called GUN, set in 1880) there is a rifle that is referred to simply as a .69 caliber Ferguson. Was there such a weapon? The game also features period-accurate weapons such as the colt peacmaker, winchester rifle etc.

A quick internet search did in fact turn up the .69 caliber Ferguson Rifle. It was used during the Revolutionary War.

The Ferguson rifle was a muzzle loader, and hence no metallic cartridge... but it used a .69 caliber lead ball for the projectile. It was used during The American Revolutionary War in the 1700's.
