Hello, recently I moved to Ohio to got to High School. I recently came across an old friend on the AIM system and we had a good conversation. I still want to talk but I can't find her on the IM system. I have a phone number, so is there any way I can call without seeming like some creepy stalker guy? Thanks in advance.

Of course! Just call up and say "Hi this is so and so ... I hope you don't think I'm being too forward but i just wondered if you would like to see/meet up some time? There's no pressure, please tell me if you are too busy".
If you offer a get out clause like this there's no way she could think you are a stalker >> you are just being friendly!
I cant understand these days that when someone shows respectful and friendly interest these days they are regarded as as a stalker ... ins ridiculous!
In my eyes, the only thing that would make you a stalker is if you refused but kept on and on pestering!

If i was you, i'd just invite the person out for a cup of coffee and to catch up on old times. You never know, they might even be debating about calling you right now and might really want to see how you've been! Good Luck!

Actually, I've been in the same delema myself lately. My old best freind and I drifted apart years ago. Now that I'm getting married in 2 weeks, I'm really wanting to get a hold of him to invite him to the wedding, but I think it would be really awkward since we haven't talked in years.

yes, just say that you had a pleasant conversation and would really enjoy talking with her again. If she does not feel the same, don't push it, maybe offer an email address, and let it go at that.

If you said that she was talking very friendly with you...I don't see a problem why not to contact her by phone...I think that you can call her and ask her directly.

Well, if you guys used to be friends, i don't see why it would be too akward. Just say you want to get to know them agian, most friends would love that.
