Twist the wire termanal off with a pair of chanallock duck billed pliers. #2. Use a 1/2inch deep socket. #3. Check on line for a spark plug deep well with a hex on the outer end (S&K). #4. The end of a spark plug snaps off easily and will not hurt a thing. Use Vice Grips or water pump pliers to do it. To test how easily a plug snaps put an old spark plug in a vice and snap it off at the end. It breaks easier than an Easter egg. When ever you put plug wire insulater boots on a spark plug, dab a little silicone ignition grease inside the distributer and plug boots before installing. They'll never stick again. This grease is avalible at any auto parts store. You'll do fine. It's good to here your cautious!

Keep trying with pliers to remove the wire terminal or Get even a deeper plug socket. I have plug sockets that are 6in long. I know that would work IF you have room for the socket. I belive that socket is made by snap-on tools. What kind of car are we talking about?
I would blow out the plug tube with a blow gun once you get the terminal out of the way BEOFRE you remove the plug.

sounds like you have one hell of a problem. Is this on a 4 cyl. motor by chance? I have run into this before. Not sure how badly the plug is in your case, Here is the best I can do for you. There should be on the end of your plug socket it should resemble a bolt. try putting a socket on the end and let me know how that works for you.IF, this does not work, you might have to do just what you really don't want to and smack the bejesus out of it with a hammer.

with the wires laying on the manifold, it could have burned a number of the insulation off and now the spark has a sparkling direction to floor. electrical energy takes the direction of least resistance, so as that could properly be directly to floor. run the engine at night without gentle and spot in case you have a delicate instruct under the hood. little sparks around the plug wires in all hazard could desire to interchange the twine back. the wires could desire to bypass someplace interior the twine loom fantastically if the two wires fire consecutively. the electrical energy interior the only twine may bring about voltage into the twine that it runs parallel with arising a crossfire
